A.J. Mathieu
Thank you for your interest in supporting the mission to which God has called me - building up Christ's Church worldwide. It is a privilege to work toward spreading the Gospel to the ends of the earth. This work continues until Jesus returns.
I lead The Malphurs Group, a US-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit ministry known internationally as Healthy Churches Global. Our team develops training and resources for pastors and church leaders worldwide, delivering support both online and in person.
I spend approximately 25% of the year overseas working on-site with churches, helping them refocus on the Great Commission by developing culturally contextualized discipleship and outreach strategies. I also speak at conferences and conduct group training with pastors globally. Additionally, I serve on leadership teams strengthening member churches of the Missional International Church Network and the International Baptist Convention.
One of my key responsibilities is identifying and training new Guides (team members) worldwide. To better steward incoming gifts and serve churches more effectively, we prioritize training local pastors and church leaders to advance our work. Their understanding of local languages and cultures surpasses what I could achieve!
In the United States, I oversee our growing team of Certified Guides who work with North American churches. I lead our team in developing digital resources delivered through the Healthy Churches Toolkit - a subscription website made available at no cost to churches outside North America, funded by subscriptions from U.S. and Canadian churches. I also co-host the Church Revitalization Podcast, a weekly resource reaching listeners in over 50 countries monthly.
I am responsible for raising support to fund my work and travel expenses. Please consider joining me through a monthly gift.

Healthy Churches Global provides digital training and tools to churches outside of North America at no cost. This ensures every global pastor has access to first-rate strategic planning resources to grow their church with greater health and effectiveness. These digital resources serve as a crucial first step, providing quality materials even before in-person training becomes available. In the past year, church leaders from every inhabited continent have registered for these resources, with new registrations increasing monthly.
While digital training provides an affordable and excellent first step, nothing replaces in-person revitalization guidance. Your monthly gifts enable me to work directly with churches, helping them make disciples and develop leaders within their unique contexts. Last year, I served churches across Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Americas, with plans to expand this reach over the next twelve months.
